Type 1 Diabetes susceptibility regions are manually curated and added to T1DBase. Information from many different studies are sourced, and the regions are constantly updated. Data for the current human type 1 susceptibility loci can be seen on the Human T1D Regions page (available via the Tools menu).
Regions can be searched for by their name (e.g. 1p13.2) by entering your search term in the box at the top right of every page.
What Genes are located within a Region?
To find genes in any of the T1D susceptibility regions, first select your organism of interest, then select the region. You can either list all genes, or limit your search further to protein-coding, mRNA, pseudogenes etc. |
What Variants are located within a Region?
To find variants in any of the Human T1D susceptibility regions please select the region from the dropdown menu. You can either list all variants, or limit your search further to non-synonymous, exonic, intronic etc. |
